I had done some comparison in the past between PS and Photomatix on the Olympus RAW files and preferred the PS. But then, Olympus is known for having a tone of info in the highlights vs other RAW files. ![]() After taking the 32bit image into PS, after finishing ACR, have you considered staying in 32 bit for other things like sharpening and using luminosity and color grade masking? The main downside for me to that is that curves adjustments are still limited to 16 bit. I’m pretty sure they will be upgraded to 32 bit in the not too distant future. About half the adjustments are able to work in 32 bit mode. ![]()
